My Mum's Birthday Card

All in the new cutout style! My mum loves flowers and pink. And because I've been buying flowers for every special occasion, I thought I'd try something different this year. And boy, was it different. It took me so freakin long to complete this card.

For some reason, I decided to do this freehand. There were bits that went missing, some parts were coloured completely wrong, and the overall composition looks a little crooked. But I hope it looks good to a set of fresh eyes. And to my mum of course. And she liked it very much.

My gosh. This post looks so out of place on my blog.

I did this sketch a few months ago of our affection. Obviously we can't keep our hands off each other. "What do you wanna do?" "I dunno. What do YOU wanna do?" "I dunno. What do YOU wanna do?" "I dunno. What do YOU wanna do?"...etc

Zombook!

Remember the football zombies I created for a book last year? Well, it's published, and is finally in my possession! Mwahaha. Thanks to Allan, I was able to check out some awesome illustrations by other artists. Here is my baby on page 13!

Duckling Cutout - Woman's Wingtip Shoe

So I finally got around to creating a cutout of my duckling shoe. When I worked on a cutout piece years ago, it was a little stressful because I never knew which part went where. But I think I figured out how to make this process a lot easier. And it was fun!
